We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Senior Care Assistant for our client’s care home renowned for its high standards and quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities:
As a Night Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing night staff and ensuring coverage during absences and annual leave
- Monitoring staff breaks to ensure appropriate time is taken
- Having knowledge of heating, water & electricity controls
- Assisting in organising activities & outings for residents
- Being responsible for the care of clients with dementia
- Ensuring all appropriate cleaning is done during the night shift
- Ensuring staff clean, wash & take care of resident's personal hygiene
- Checking all residents to see that their needs are being met
- Observing & ensuring care staff assist residents using straps, hoist, Zimmer frames and use correct lifting techniques
- Distributing medicines correctly
- Assisting care staff if sickness reduces staff numbers
- Undertaking training for senior staff as & when required
- Assisting in the training & induction of new staff
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate for this role should be a compassionate individual with a strong desire to improve the quality of life for residents. They should have excellent organisational skills, a strong understanding of care home operations, and the ability to lead and support a team.
