The successful candidate will have been or currently working within a domiciliary care environment either as a Field Care supervisor, Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker, with a NVQ level 3 and also a real ambition and desire to improve, learn and develop.
The Care Manager will have the following key responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care that meets the individual needs of service users.
- Drive continuous improvement, identify areas for development, and implement action plans to deliver the highest standards of care.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including commissioners, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and development, and work collaboratively with the senior management team to implement strategies to achieve this.
The ideal person for this Care Manager role will have: - Previous experience in a leadership role within a domiciliary care setting, or wanting the next step up in their career
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality care that meets the individual needs of service users.
- A positive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving as well as dealing with the normal day to day tasks - staff management, safeguarding’s etc.
